Elves change the directions
‘Today’s the 15th day of our trip’ said Elfi. ‘We need to make sure that the reindeer aren’t being overworked. Just look at Rudolph – he seems really tired!’ But Rudolph shook his head. He was more than ready.
Having ticked off Italy, Spain and Greece, it was time to head to some colder countries. Santa took out his list and said ‘It’s so great how many children believe in me.’ ‘We’ve certainly got lots of presents to deliver’ said Elfi.
‘Then we better get a move on’ Santa exclaimed as he hurried his elves to jump on the sleigh.
The first day of our adventure
The first day is almost finished. We heard the wishes of children from Poland, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and beyond. It’s funny how many of them all wish for the same things, no matter where they’re from. Old-fashioned teddy bears are still top of our present list this year – although those electronic Furbies are becoming more popular. They’re fun to play with but you really can’t turn them off when they start singing...
Ooh! Aaah!
We had a great night of fireworks last night. Oh how fun it was to see all those colourful lights filling the night sky. At one point it was so bright that Elfi, who was sleeping under the stairs as usual, thought it was morning already! A show like that doesn’t happen too often so I took a break from replying to letters – but, don’t worry, I’m back at it now...
